Denne vannkjelen fra Raadvad var den første ordentlige kjøkkenting jeg kjøpte selv. Som designstudent var formen viktig. Kjelen ble kjøpt inn like før Alessi bølgen skyllet inn, med sin dyre vannkjele med fugl på tuten. Det var 10 års garanti, nå har jeg hatt den dobbelt så lenge, kjelen er like fin. Jeg har også funnet ut at det er enklere å skrive norsk stil på norsk. En erkjennelse som ble enda sterkere etter den fantastiske konserten med Bob Hund på tirsdag, med sin herlige skånsk, som alle forsto, i alle fall litt. Da de prøvde å slå igjennom på engelsk ble det stille. Nå er de sterkt tilbake, språket er en del av uttrykket. Uten sammenligning forøvrig.

Colour scheme

Falcon chair

Springtime is flea market-time, where sometimes I find treasures. This little beauty came home with me this weekend. Falcon chair, design by Sigurd Resell for Vatne Lenestolfabrikk.
Now I`m looking for its twin, the high back version.

Ikea PS

Nice little table or stool Karljohan from Ikea PS. Massive wood, rather rare at Ikea, and worth its price. The table Bruse from PS is not massive, though it looks like! Both are design by Christian Halleröd, check out his clean cut portfolio of interior and design.

Yeah Yeah

I got hand on these bargains at todays release of the Matthew Williamson for HM collection. The studded metallic leather belt is for my neighbour in real life (who also has her own blog, and a great collection of Figgjo, by the way, which I will make a post on some other day). The psykedelic silk dress will look great for the summer holiday in Greece. Yeah!

Flowerpot "Gråsippa" in cast aluminum from Byarums Bruk. Big enough for a tree. The designer Signe Persson-Melin has a favorite, nr 3 with its perfect proportions and 63 cm of diameter. I agree, I like it too.

I like the big plate. It`s old, but has a modern style at the same time.

I love benches. Especially the one designed for outdoor use. Here are some new favorites from swedish Nola in concrete and lasercut sheet steel. The steel one is only 11 kilo and will look good in an interior too!

Tekstilmix

Hytten i Jølster en Ål-hytte fra 1982. Formen er enkel og stram i linjene. Interiøret består utelukkende av lys furu. Gulv, vegger og tak. Ryer og tepper dekker gulvet, veggene har tepper med tradisjonelle tekstilmotiver. Det blir mye farger! Hver gang vi kommer hjem blir vi like overveldet av lyset, med hvite vegger, lyse gulv og farger som stort sett holder seg innefor gråtoneskalaen.
